Did you know that many Canadian artists are self-employed, manage low incomes from creative work and volatile work arrangements, and may not be working full-time in their creative practice?*

My artistry is my primary source of income and I currently work completely independently. With member and community support, I’m able to dedicate more time to my art than any other occupation, share my work with wider audiences, and build a sustainable, independent creative career.
